My Mom, the Writer

My mom wrote book reviews for Oregon Magazine. She was asked to write a great deal more and for other publications. But paralyzed by her own criticism, discontinued after only a few years much to the disappointment of her editor, me, and many others.

My mom, Peggy Whitcomb, passed away from a quick but vicious battle with cancer in November 2008. I miss her so terribly, my heart aches every day. From her, I learned so much even when I didn't know it. Thank you, Momma, for everything.
